I watched a few videos of rebuilds and installs and I see where those set screws could give you grief.I have to take off the snowthrower so I can get the hood off to work on it and see what happened.The guy I bought it from used it for snow removal duty on a hard surface but it’s been bouncing all over my property towing the aerator and seeder.Wondering whether I lost the set screws?When I get time I’ll dig in further.

If you just disconnect linkage the PTO should fall out at this point.
