OK...I reread what you're doing. You want an AC voltmeter for the output of the generator . Got it!!
That's going to be tough. Are you sure you couldn't glue a small piece of toothpick/wire to the stub of the meter vane ? Finding a replacement glass will be easy.
120 degree sweep small panel meters for 140 vac is going to be tough but let me look around.
