Ah.. I see. How about some old alluminum diamond plate? I've sliced a old metal ribbed garbage can and made stuff like this. You want to go all out farm boy fix I suggest you "find" an old stop sign or traffic sign. Notice I didnt say steal one. That's for legal purposes
