I've had a lawn vacuum attached to a CC 42", 44", 46" mower deck. All of them used a hose adaptor that bolted to the deck as described here. No need for the outrigger wheel shown in your photo.
The leaf vacs that used the pull behind trailer had a swinging boom mounted to hold the vacuum hose off the ground. I use bungee cords.
I use this type hose. It's light, durable and not as expensive as some. You can buy it cheaper than what's shown in this ad.
