104 clutch work & hydraulic pump rebuild
I'm beginning the process of tearing into my 104. This is my first time really ever working on a cub cadet so it will be a bit of a learning experience.
I got my engine out and took the hydraulic pump off as it leaks pretty badly. Tonight I will start trying to pound the roll pins out of the drive shaft. I have been told that this can be a little difficult so we will just see how it goes. Also, on these hydraulic pumps, has anyone here ever had the input shaft hole drilled out and bushed? The hole is very worn and I don't believe that doubling up the oil seals will help that much. I figured that I can't be the first person to have this problem so I was hoping someone here would have a solution. I ordered a new neutral return spring and o rings and seals so if I can find someone to push the input shaft hole, it should be good to go.
Once I get these issues fixed up, I need to put some ag tires on the back. Buy a 3pt hitch and then hopefully I can take this to PA plow day!
