I tried to start up my 782 today with the snow blade on it to get ready for the snow/ice we have coming in on Sunday, and it took a while to start, which it never did... and then it stopped working all together. I smelled something get hot so I lifted the seat to look under there, I figured I melted the solenoid or something... NOPE. I melted the negative battery terminal. It looks like a solder drip in the bottom of the battery tray. I'm not sure what happened there, but now I need a new battery. I'm guessing it was an unclean connection that got real hot.
