Welcome to OCC ! You will find a wealth of info here to help you with your first cub, the next couple cubs will get easier ! I like the late 60's early 70's tractors the wide frames from the early 70's are a little easier to work on with the removable tunnel cover but I like the late 60's triangle shaped decks better than the later decks, I just think they cut better ! The thing with the decks is to clean them good at the end of the season ,slap a coat of rustoleum on the underside and keep the baffle/deflector in place on the underside, most of them need replacing and are easily fabbed at home. Some will say the baffle isn't needed but I think it cuts better with it ,just my opinion and I've been running these cubs since the mid 60's ! They are pretty much bulletproof and where built to last a lifetime ! happy cub searching !
