This is what I use. I believe they call this a charcoal filter. I use it with a pre filter. ( not pictured) . I love the full face respirator, it doesn’t hurt my nose like the half face respirators. Ive been painting as a hobby for about three years now. Totally self taught, and I’ve made every mistake I think a person can. Including thinking a blue bandana would be a “good enough respirator”.....the activator /hardener used for single stage paint is bad,bad stuff. Good ventilation,covering as much of exposed skin as possible and leaving your respirator on at all times is a must. Just my 2 cents. I’m sure there’s other people on this forum that know waaaay more than me about painting.
