Technically yes, but it is easier to change the spool valve and route the lines/hoses to the front factory location.
FWIW the Deere valves work and usually are less $$$ on the internet sale sites.
On your series I engine,keep the oil changed and Don't EVER rev it up cold, as
it is a sure way of throwing a rod through the block.
