Also google anything you can on wiring schematics/wiring diagrams for your sled if you haven't already.
EDIT:
look at the alignment marks in picture 5 (enlarge it) on the aluminum gear end housing where it mates to the steel field housing.
Verify you assembled it that way.
I found a diagram, it is hooked up right. That does look like my starter. I didn’t have the housing off, only the end cap. I’m going to double check everything later today.
