You have the first Hydro unit model Cub Cadet produced. They are like all the others, tuff and ready to work. You probably need to change the hydro fluid and filter. If the unit is jerky with the lever to move forward or reverse you may also have to do some linkage adjustments and or fix the trunion spring and bracket. There are several posts here about all those issues. Congrats on the 123. That is a model I definitely want to find for myself eventually. Oh and welcome aboard, there are many people here with a ton of knowledge and information on these great machines.
