Just give it a search on here, there is lots of info with pics. Pretty much the trunion spring end caps wear deep grooves into the bracket limiting movement. The trunion springs are there to cushion the torque of fast acceleration but once they need repair they can hang up and give you erratic speed. Im not saying thats your problem for sure but its deffinitely sonething to take a look at.
