Watching the system work, I can see where the parts intercept each other to go from FORWARD to NEUTRAL when brake is depressed....But when going from reverse when brake is depressed, it appears the linkage is not moving the pieces it needs to.
There is a whole bunch of moving parts going on when that brake peddle is depressed.....Quite Rub Goldberg if I might say so.
More pondering with beer in hand while the parts go through their motions is needed......
