Cyclops Belt for the 54 inch deck
I have a strange problem with the belt on the 54 in deck. I have confirmed that the unit is mounted correctly to the mule drive and that the pulleys are the right ones and spinning well.
The Cub belt is supposed to be 91 11/16 in length. When I bought one it was too long. The pulleys on the mule drive almost hit the front of the mule drive frame. I have been using generic Farm store 91 in belts. They have been working OK, but tend to flip over in the pulleys after an hour of hard use.
What brand and length of belt works for people with this deck?
Is there a certain belt construction that works better then others?
