Default Creeper gear leak and sharing clutch spring tool idea.

Hi, I have a 1968 124. I just replace the driveshaft, throwout bearing and pilot bushing. I'll attach a pic of my clutch spring compression tool I made to get it apart. When it compresses, I made notches for the roll pin to go thru the angle. Anyways, before I put it all back together, the creeper gear is always pretty wet and I figure nows the time. I ordered a gasket and a imput shaft seal, just wondering if these are the usual culprits. I figure the gasket is probably shot just dont want to open a can of worms pulling seals! Thanks for any advise!
