Actually, that is normal,,
but,,, if you dislike it shaking,,
go to NAPA, buy a throttle return spring (any one will do,,)
Connect the spring so that it is pulling the linkage towards the grill.

That will take up all the slack, eliminate vibration, and minimize "glittering"

I think most of the linkage rattle is from the button still touching,,
Adjust it until there is a real gap, and see if it stops rattling,,,

Another thing I have done,, when there is no belt on,
disconnect the PTO lever completely, and leave it laying forward towards the grill.
If you do that, you have inches of clearance for the button,,
and, if you still have the safety switch connected for the PTO, you can now start the tractor without disengaging the PTO clutch.
