New Coil...which one?
Hi all,
I have a 2186 with the Kohler 18hp Command. I've lost the spark on the number 2 cylinder. I changed the plugs and it ran the same, like on one cylinder intermittently.
I figure bad coil. I've pulled the engine, the cover and took a pic of the coil and part#. I wanted to do all the cleaning under the cover, air ways, etc. It is a dirty mess but the cylinder cooling fins are fairly clean.
Would you replace the coils with Koher OEM for about $100 of with after marker for about half the price. I'm leaner hard towards the Kohler.
