Yes, the hydro drive and rear diff use the same fluid, it's all one system, and the differential casing acts as the fluid reservoir. Also it's worth mentioning that you don't need to use the name brand Cub Cadet fluid, as there are companies making cheaper off-brand fluid of the same quality. I'm running a Runnings Harvest King brand hydro fluid in my 107, and there's no issues. Tractor supply brand should also do. On the labels for the containers usually there's a list of the types of fluid it meets standards of, and if Hy-Tran is on that list you should be good to go.
