cub cadet does not use a 3rd brush generator like the old Harleys or
some early IH 6V generators.
You need not polarize a system if it is a starter/generator, as that happens each time it is started.
Do make sure the
correct regulator wires are connected to the regulator by the
labeling on the regulator Not the
location on the regulator. lack of this lets the Magic smoke out of the regulator!
