I have not experienced any clogging of the blower hose yet. I have a set of hi-lift blades on the 54" deck that I keep very sharp. I generally mow over the lawn (only when dry) at a slower rate when picking up leaves, compared to normal mowing speed. Hoping I don't have to suck up any wet leaves...that will surely clog the hose...  |
Have the same agrifab leaf sucker. bought mine used . Here’s a invention to help with unloading

1 buy a 5x7 blue tarp. fold in half
2 buy a few 18” strip magnets at harbor freight
3 attach a strip magnet inside top front of your metal cart
4, attach a 18” piece of steel strapping to one side of your tarp
5 attach a 10 foot piece of rope to the corners of the tarp ear the strapping ends
6 touch the strapping to the magnet
7 lay the tarp down the front inside wall of the cart.....lay a 2x 4 to hold it in the front lower bottom corner . add a 18”magnet to the 2x4 so it sticks to the cart
8 then continue with the tarp along the bottom floor of the cart to the rear edge. screw the tarp to the rear edge cart using another piece of strapping
9 pull the rope loose ends out the rear door top center of the cart. let them dangle or use a tie off loop
Now when your cart is full of leaves...remove the back door. grab the rope ends. and pull the entire contents of the cart out in one swoop
i put a short piece of rope on the 2x4 so i could find it in the leaf pile
