Now that makes sense. If you left those lights on overnight your battery would be completely dead. I actually left my 106's light on overnight once and she still fired up no problem (but like I said before, my LED lights draw a LOT less power).
For batteries, my 106 and 107 both run a Walmart brand "Everstart" Lawn and Garden battery, with 350 CCA's. Biggest Lawn and Garden battery that Walmart's got. They seem to work fine unless you leave them half-charged and it gets real cold.
I did some service a couple weeks ago to the 107 that involved cranking it over a bunch but not starting it, leaving the battery not fully charged. Then the cold hit it and killed it.
Swapped it out with a smaller 230 CCA battery of the same brand that was fully charged and despite the less power she still fired right up. And even after sitting a few days in the coldish weather, I went out tonight and that same battery still had good charge.
But if there's ever one thing I'll never understand about batteries, it's the warranties...
