Default Dirt Track Pics

ol George and I had struck up a conversation about Winged 410 sprint cars over in the test pic area as some might have seen. So going to start another thread here on the subject of racing pics of yourself as far back as what you got, don't hold out. So I dug up 3 pics from the Old Reading Fairgrounds that used to exist in Reading PA. But like so many race tracks, especially dirt tracks, they are long gone and just a distant memory for a lot of us. Been into racing and a gear head my whole life. My father took me to my first race at the Reading Fairgrounds when I would have been 5 in 1968. When my Mom and Dad moved out to AZ about 15 years ago they gave me some pics they had. So this is all I have of those days from so long ago. So anyway I like all kinds of racing from crotch rockets to flat track bikes, all things that go on dirt, sprints, modified, late models etc, drag racing and all things fast. Was a huge NASCAR fan but really lost most of my interest in it when they went to stage racing, sorry don't like it, and that's just my opinion.
Yep that's me sitting in the window opening of Red Coffin's big block dirt modified after the races were over at Reading circa October 1970. Sadly they raced their last race on June 29, 1979
I also have some pics of when I went to the "Moody Mile" back in 82 and 83. I'll pic a few out, scan them and post.
