What's FEL? spelling error, or does that mean something?
I have used both. I have used the 2000 series shown above. 3000 series with two peddles side by side. And CaseIH Farmall 35 with a nice cast iron treadle style peddle.
My least favorite is the 2000 series. The treadle style is really nice for changing direction. The operator can modulate the hydro to drive and mow into tight corners and seamlessly change direction to back out. That's the advantage of one peddle. with two peddles you have to stop and move your foot. It's not as smooth.
