Book says to break jam nuts loose, turn about 3 or more turns and then tighten adjustment bolts counter clock wise to tighten. Is the jam nut a standard thread to loosen(counter clock wise) or does it turn clock wise to loosen. I tried to turn both ways but could not get it to move. Maybe too weak today. If I know for sure which way to turn I may talk the wife into breaking them loose.
