Thanks Richard. I made a magnetic retriever and got all the parts out. I put in a spare valve and fired it up. Seems OK so far.
The bad valve might have been a rebuilt one, but I am not sure.
Now I need to figure out the best way to clean the concrete that is stained from the hydro fluid?
