Check to see that your spindles are free to turn, with no appreciable play or noise.
Also check to see if the mule drive pulleys have good bearings and are not bent or @ a odd angle.
also use the factory belt, a "will fit" or hardware or tractor supply belt will shred itself in short order.
also look for anything that it may be hitting/rubbing on.
I'm sure others will have suggestions also.
