How did you fix yours?

I ran a small bolt and nut through, and then hit the nut with a tiny spot weld. I think anything other than a locking nut will eventually work itself free.
I did essentially the same thing, small nut and bolt. However, I am unable to weld, so I did the best I could giving it a pretty thick layer of JB weld. I know it isn't perfect but once dry its surprisingly strong, for what I use the tractor for (which isn't much) it should be just fine.
