Also picked up another narrow frame last week, actually it just kind of got dropped off. Of course I thought I was going to use it for parts on the 149, but I think it'll make a nice machine to hook another Implement on. Turns out it's in better shape than I thought it's just a plain Jane though no attachments or features This one was also delivered with a parts 1720 with a mower deck. Don't know what I'm going to do with that yet. |
The 1720 would be a good parts unit.
It has a vertical m-18.
carb, mag,starter, charging system, heads, and other parts are usable on a horizontal engine.
Also the deck has the new style tapered aluminum spindle housings that are a bolt in upgrade for stamped water pump style housings.
Also the anti-scalp wheels can be retrofitted to the early 50A and50 C decks without them.
