I have several Cubs, but this Starter-Generator is mounted to an antique one lunger marine engine. This is a new starter gen and I had never hooked up the new regulator until today.
I did the "polarize zap" thing, and tried grounding the field to test charging and the volts dont increase. I think that means the SG wont charge but its new so it should.
I figured to ask how to test the generator section, ohms? I dunno?
