Well now 30 years was an understatement.........
LOL, now that I think on it, it all started when I was ten years old in 1968.
Dad bought a then new 125 for the new home Dad was building.
My very first job that spring was to drag the steel remains of a queen size box spring all over where grass seed was to be sewn. About two acres worth.
From then on I was in charge of lawn mowing.
Dad did the snowthrowing.
Moved into my own house and promptly bought a used 127 to mow that lawn.
Got married and moved 300 miles east into Canada, importing that same 127.
Sold that one when we moved to Florida. Hired someone to mow our lawn for a couple of months.
Vintage CC's are rare in Florida so I ended up buying another 127 via fleabay.
Had to drive to Virginia, stuff it into a first generation Chrysler minivan with mower deck installed too. And drive home the next day.
That one became a parts tractor when the latest 127 came up for sale (subject of this threads first post).
And so it goes, after a run of 53 consecutive years of my butt in a CC the thrill of it all must come to an end.
