Mike - no I haven't started making the shield yet. It sucks when you are too busy at your day job to play. Don (my friend in Kempville you met) and I just bought a 109 with a tiller to fix up and sell that has a tiller with a shield that I'll use as a pattern. Someone painted the thing red.
I've been out in the lane a few times with the blade. Sad when you have to push the little bit of snow in rows to try out the 104 with the blower.Here's a couple of pics of the mounting plate I made. What you can't see is the 2 tabs I welded on to bolt it to the axle.
I use the back blade for leveling the manure in my neighbours horse corral.
I hold the front blade up with a strap so I can use the lift on the back blade and can have both mounted.
