Make sure it is super clean outside, before you remove the pump from the trans I break the bolts loose holding the pump halves together, but not to much.
Shine up your pump shaft with 400 grit before you remove the charge pump as it comes off first as you have to remove the gerotor retaining pin to separate the pump. From there the rest is easy as long as you are careful removing the pin holding the trunnion shaft. I did one today and made sure I did not hit the pin too far as it has to be centered on the shaft to be removed.
