hauling firewood
I am teaching my son to drive our 129 with a "new to us" trailer. It came with a ball hitch in good condition, so I added a ball to the rear end plate of the tractor. Now the hitch and unhitch activity is SO much easier than the old trailer with the pin. I do not know who made this trailer. We take it up into the woods behind our house. I cut firewood and he loads, drives and unloads the wood closer to the house. The hill is steep and rocky, but with the chains and wheel weights, she is climbing strong. I WAS surprised at first that chains can spin a lot on flat rock surfaces. But they sure are great for traction on most other terrain. I think we move about 200 - 300lbs of wood per run. All green, it will be burned in late 2022.
What wonderful machines.
