Well most anything will wear off quickly depending on what you mow/mulch,
and the type of lawn/dirt or lack of it you mow over.
Now it it is a trailer queen, paint it up real purdy because it will never be used or seen.
Some fellers use "slip plate" it is a graphite paint made to apply to things like grain wagons so crops slide easier, but it is short lived and requires seasonal reapplication.
I have also heard of fellers using truck bed liner stuff.
You are only limited by your imagination and resourcefulness.

Personally,
I don't use anything and come this time of the year after I mulch leaves, sticks, cat/dawg critter excrement, stones and other chit I never know what it was but it makes a hell of a noise under the deck,
it is pretty shiny and polished under there.
