Same here.
Keep it clean with sharp blades so it will scour and it will stay clean.
Just don't mow heavy wet grass all the time and leave it set out in the grass when not in use.
Had my 54" deck off the GTX2154LE yesterday to change oil and there was only a couple handfuls around the spindles is all, the rest is shiny clean. It is stored inside always.
I might spray some light oil on it for storage but usually don't.
