I got away from the original questions because if you’ve not had the blower on that tractor, it’s not just plug n play. I rebuilt my QA42A last year but I acquired it in pieces and had to reassemble it. Most of the parts were already there except the bearings on the end of the auger, which are available at TSC. They’re a bearing sandwiched between two plates, and you can mix and match parts there. Just take the old one with you and match up what you need.
I don’t know much about the shaft or gear box. I do have an extra shaft with ujoints here somewhere that’s in good shape except it was painted over.
