There were different lengths of lift rods. I have a QA42A for my 2182 and I don't know if the rod length is the same. In fact, the PO gave me two different length lift rods.

It's literally a rod with a 90° bend on each end, and a hole for a cotter pin. I can measure the diameter if it helps.
