Hello, I just made my first post here

but I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I had an unstable upbringing, Better than some but worse than others. So I long wanted to have roots and own a home. I luckily was able to buy 5 acres in a wooded area in 2016, my little piece of heaven. Its nice owning my own home and land, but what they don't tell you is your on the hook to fix and take care of it! I am very much wanting to get into homesteading and gardening and such so I am working on that. Not having any knowledge of that I'm now trying to learn as much as I can. I had a surrogate father in my friends father who taught me a lot about cars and such but he passed away several years ago. So I am grateful for resources and communities such as this one. I think that's all for now. I just wanted to say howdy to all.
