was only idling it down for about 20 seconds. Yesterday i let it idle for about 2 minutes then drove it at idle back into the shed and it did not backfire. Come to think of it Dad complained of it doing this to the cub cadet dealer when it was under warranty and they did not give him an explanation, heck they picked up the tractor once and brought it back with zipties holding the deck up on one side. I buy my parts online now, not giving then any money.
