Resurrecting the Yellow & White CCC 984
Greetings,
I figured I'd make a new thread to document the 984's return to service after sitting almost 20 years.
Attached is the tractor how I found it, then it's status last night. Rear tires are off as I cleaned/am painting the rims in preparation for new Carlisle Multi Trac CS Lawn & Garden Tires (Rear - 26X1200-12 LRB 4PLY; Front - 18X850-8 LRD 8PLY).
I plan on pressure washing the rest of the tractor and getting tires on it before any real use. The cab (headliner), fuel tank, and fuel lines were in sad shape when I got it. I also have some wiring "modifications" to undo in the immediate future. The engine is a Liminar/Onan Performer 20 crate engine put in right before the tractor was parked.
