Have it running fairly smooth but on my first drive around the yard without the deck, pulled back into garage and the bottom was smoking pretty good. The entire area was extremely hot to the touch. Pretty sure the previous anti-seize (if used) was 'baked-on' as I noted that the exhaust coming out of the muffler aims directly at the PTO, drive pulley and belt. There doesn't seem to be any guard or tailpipe to redirect the hot exhaust. Looking at the diagrams, there doesn't appear to be any reference to any sort of redirection.
Anyone have a clue on the hot exhaust blowing on the PTO/Drive directly out of the muffler?
Thanks, Matt

A picture of what you have would make it a lot easier to determine what your situation is. (i.e wrong muffler, missing deflector, etc.)
