The center portion of the Quietline 3-pin drive plate is made of flexible spring steel.
Because the Quietlines rubber ISO engine mount system creates engine movement, the flex in the 3-pin drivers center section allows the driveshaft to maintain a straight line.
Problems occur with the 3-pin driver, not of it's own fault, but when the ISO mounts get so badly worn, the excessive engine movement causes the flex center of the 3-pin driver to crack.

If you go to solid mounts, and your existing 3-pin driver is not cracked you should be ok.
