The last 2 new seats I bought both SUCK!

The retainer strip that holds the actual vinyl cover to the frame will not stay in place and starts falling off around the sides and the front taking the metal joint clip with it.
After a few hours of use and a few mounts and dismounts the retainer strip, cover clip and all are hanging down off the frame on the sides and the front.
NEVER had that issue with new seats in the past and even the old original ones that are cut and split in places are still intact and tight around the edges.
Seems they have cheapened the retainer strip with something other (plastic maybe?) than the metal "U" sections molded into it that will not hold their shape.
Of course, I discovered this, months after purchasing them, too late to ask for any recourse from the supplier as well. And the on line vendor I had purchased several others from a few years back is apparently no longer in business. His seats are holding up well.
