Default 2804 ReceiveR Hitch reinforcement

One more request for suggestions.

I ordered a receiver hitch from Extreme for my 2084. Of course, I ordered the wrong one and got the version for the 3000 tractors. I bolted it up anyway as it had the same bolt pattern as the existing trailer draw bar. It extends down another 4 inches with 2 bolt holes. As it is, it flexes too much to be useful. see photo

I looked at the correct part on Extreme website, and it just uses the 5 original bolts. I assume the receiver tube is moved higher so that nothing extends below the frame plate. If that is the case, is it strong enough to take some weight?

I have seen a photo, probably here, of someone using their CC with a receiver-mounted engine hoist. I'd like to be able to do that, as well as move some heavy stuff using a hitch rack.

So, long story, but has anyone here done something to reinforce this mount? The best I can come up with is to machine a block to bolt to the differential and pick up those two lower bolts on this mount I bought. I think that would be stronger than the "correct" receiver mount from Xtreme
I might also double that backplate.
Suggestions welcome!
