Interesting. I'll try that tomorrow.

EDIT: Looks like it will take a 3/4" chuck to grab that driveshaft. Biggest I have at home is 1/2", but I think I have a bigger spare chuck at the shop, and hopefully a 1/2" arbor to fit it.
