At last, sunshine! Had the opportunity to work the rake today and the only questions is,,,, why did I wait so long to get one of these rigs!? Love this thing. What used to take up to 2 days hand raking was done in less than an hour.
The only bit of an issue was I'm used to the Farmall Cub's hydraulics in that there are adjustable stops to set limits on how high or low you want the lift to go and the CC is lacking that so trying to set the rake at the same height on each pass took some trial and error with imperfect results but I got better at it as time went on. Anybody ever come up with a depth control for one of these? Maybe something back at the hitch?
