I may go look at a 682 and I'm just wondering, first of all, if it's a good machine overall. Is the design user friendly? Are there any outstanding mechanical issues particular to this unit? High maintenance areas? What should I look for as far as trouble spots. The deck is lifted electrically and he says the tiller is a "screw lift" There are no side panels, but I think that is common.

Not sure about any hydraulics on the machine.

It's a 400 mile drive to pick it up, but I can combine that with some family visiting, so no big deal. It's just that I can't it see in person unless I go.
