The harness IS molested somewhere, that's the problem! There's a wire coming from the solenoid that shouldn't be! It possibly plugs into a switch somewhere to bypass something, otherwise it wouldn't connect to the solenoid. It doesn't have a factory end, it's an add-on by Mickey Mouse! Wherever it goes it's crucial to starting the motor. I believe darkminion might be onto to something with one of the safety switches. If it was stuck in one of them and got pulled out accidently when the steering column was messed with, then that would affect the motor being allowed to start. I can tell the ignition switch wiring was molested at one time because all of the wiring coming from the switch are the wrong colors for the first 6", then they're spliced into the correct wiring. Somewhere along the line something happened there, but like I keep saying, It ran before he started on the column repair, so the ignition switch has nothing to do with this at this point. I do have a multimeter, and a circuit tester.
