GT3200 wont turn off with new switch
My future father in law has a GT3200 that he loves and recently the key stopped working. I pulled the switch and opened it up to find some melted plastic and crud. Ordered a new Stens switch and it starts up fine, but will not shut off with the key now.
Was thinking the switch grounded the coil, but not finding a wire from the switch to the coil. Orange/white off "S" goes to the Brake switch which leads to an Orange/Black that leads to the PTO switch which leads to the orange/white to the solenoid.
He has mentioned some issues with the PTO switch not engaging as well intermittently so this all may be tying together now.
Thinking it may be a bad ignition switch I ordered a replacement. Any other ideas where to check? Hate to just start ordering a PTO switch as well as I don't want to just throw parts at it.
Need to see if I can follow the wiring along from the brake switch to the pto and then to the solenoid... Wanted to check with others.
