Hello everyone,

Still wet behind the ears, have a 551 and the rear gear box bearings have siezed up. I got the housing split apart without damage, but need to figure out how to get the bearings out along with one of the two shafts. I think I can Gomer a fixture to pull the shaft but two outer races are stuck in the housings. Any tips or prayers would be appreciated. Split the case and it was raining brown dust, no good. Gears look useable, bearings no. Another question is are there other bearings that can be used besides the ones that I see of $50 a pop?
